USB Charging Stations

The USB charging stations in airports often appear to be a welcome sight to travelers with a dying cellphone.  However, you might want to think twice about using them.  Officials are warning that criminals could compromise charging stations with malware and use the cables to infect unsuspecting users’ cellphone. The malware could be used to access data, including passwords, photos and other personal information, from an attached cellphone.  And yet, despite the risks, people do it all the time.  That decision might cost them more than a few extra minutes on social media before boarding their flight.
