November 28th 2017 Mayor Barbara Sharief taking the gavel for the second time as Broward’s first African American female Mayor in its 100 year history. Mayor Sharief said it is an honor and privilege to have the support of my colleagues a second time. I will continue to serve all residents of Broward County’s 31 municipalities with pride and integrity”.
