Business Opportunity Act Amendment

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners announced the approval of a resolution to amend the Broward County Code of Ordinances related to the Broward County Business Opportunity Act of 2012.  The Business Opportunity Act governs the County’s small business program, which is managed by the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD).

The amendment addresses various needs of smaller firms across multiple industries, helping local firms gain better access to federal programs.
