October is Energy Action and Awareness Month!  Broward County’s Environmental Planning and Community Resilience Division invites you to join the community-wide social media campaign to encourage swapping incandescent light bulbs for LED bulbs. An average household dedicates about 5% of its energy budget to lighting or about $7/month according to General Electric’s calculator. Switching to energy-efficient LED lighting is one of the fastest ways to cut energy bill costs. Join us in posting a photo on social media with the #BrowardBulbSwap or #EEDay2018 to raise awareness for energy efficiency.  Challenge your friends to participate too!
