Broward County hosted it’s 7th Annual “AUTISM IN FLIGHT” Program to help students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to reduce stress and make traveling a more pleasurable experience.  Individuals with Autism often have difficulties in the area of communication, social skills and organizational skills.  The program partners with 4th and 5th graders from eight Broward County Schools, along with teachers and parents.  JetBlue pilots and flight attendants are onboard to simulate the true flying experience as they interact with the children. A number of entities work together to make the program a success.  For more, contact Linda Merrill LMERRILL@broward.org
