I hear lots of negatives about immigrants that are simply not true. Most forget that this great nation was built on the backs of immigrant slaves like my great grandparents. Immigrants come to this country in search of freedom from oppressions and lack of opportunity in their respective countries. If you look deep and long enough, we all have immigrants in our family history. Let’s change the way we view immigrants, understanding the fabric of America is woven with hard work and desires of immigrants to achieve the American dream of employment, home ownership and where their voices are heard.
