We are blessed to live in a County made up of timeless traditions from all over the world, which makes Broward County an amazing and diverse melting pot. Most recently, Broward County hosted its first Ramadan Iftar Dinner in collaboration with the Muslim communities of South Florida. We had an amazing turnout and it was a night of education and celebration for the entire community, where attendees participated in a Ramadan Iftar dinner. I look forward to encouraging and participating in more educational events to embrace all cultures and religious groups throughout our County where we live, work and play.
