A new school year has begun in Broward County. Tuesday, my daughter started middle school and I wondered, how safe will she be? This year, Broward County School Board signed an agreement with BSO allowing them access to their 260+ facilities and 10,000 cameras. This allows live monitoring in all Broward School campuses. The goal is to make Broward County Schools safer for our children and teachers. We have learned from the MSD shooting, but there’s still more to learn! Remind your kids if they see something, say something, no matter how small. It may be their lives they save!
