Pembroke Pines Police SWAT Team received a call regarding a domestic-related shooting inside a home in the Grand Palms community. The caller also stated there was one victim with a gunshot wound as well as hostages inside the home. Police believed the call was a possible “swatting” prank call. Resources, time and money were wasted and when someone is really in need of these services the response time will be maximized because of these useless pranks. This is not a laughing matter! People need to think before pulling pranks like this and be punished. Innocent people could have died.
