Census officials have begun canvassing to check addresses not verified by their software. To ensure our residents are kept safe, especially seniors, all Census employees will have official government badges and briefcases and will explain the purpose of their visit. It’s important to remember the Census determines our representation in Congress, redistricting, and how more than $675 billion in federal funds will be distributed to the states and local governments, including healthcare, jobs, schools, roads and businesses.
