This week another driver died after a Brightline train crashed into his Maserati. With crossing arms down, lights flashing, the driver thought he could beat the train, so he went through the grade crossings and unfortunately, never made it. This adds to the dozens who have died over the past several months for not yielding to the grade crossings and obeying the no trespassing signs. While several of the deaths were suicides, the majority were caused by impatient people not obeying the laws. Life is short, don’t shorten your life by playing “chicken” as the next death could be yours!
