Everyone must be sensible when using PPE. First Responders are on the front lines of this battle and are having trouble obtaining PPE to keep them safe as they treat COVID-19 patients. However, if you go outside, you’ll find used PPE thrown everywhere, including in shopping carts. You must dispose PPE equipment in the garbage. Health officials warn that this will pose additional health risks during this pandemic. Keep a garbage bag in your car, dispose PPE equipment in the bag, throw the bag in your garbage can! Cities are beginning to impose $100-$150 fines for violators. This is serious!
