Last week Governor DeSantis said South Florida is on the verge of going to Phase 2 of reopening for COVID-19. However, the previous re-openings caused many people to return to unsafe behaviors, such as gathering in large crowds, and not wearing masks, which contributed to a surge in positive cases. For us to reopen safely, we must follow all precautions Broward has put in place, as well as the CDC. If we don’t, we will be forced to perform another shutdown and pause any re-opening plans. Everyone is at risk, don’t take chances, wash your hands and wear your mask!
