This morning I drove to Okeechobee to attend the County Coalition for Responsible Management of Lake Okeechobee, St. Lucie & the Caloosahatchee Estuaries, and the Lake Worth Lagoon Meeting. The US Army Corps of Engineers and South Florida Water Management District presented project updates regarding Lake Okeechobee. Happy to see my friends FAC President Commissioner Melissa McKinlay and former past presidents Commissioners Doug Smith, & Commissioner Karson Turner as well as other FAC members and Commissioners.
