Last week, medical facilities began receiving and administering the first doses of the coronavirus vaccines. Our Healthcare workers and all First Responders who are on the frontline every day and our most vulnerable will be receiving the first doses. It’s important to know that the vaccine isn’t a cure, but a prevention vaccine and is only reliable once you have received the second dose. Until everyone is vaccinated, infection transmission prevention measures such as wearing masks, washing hands and social distancing must continue. With over 300,000 lives lost and growing, this vaccine may be the start to a brighter 2021.
