Months into the coronavirus pandemic, Seniors are still having a hard time envisioning their “new normal.” Many are grieving the loss of their old routines, their families, and daily activities. They are suffering from depression, anxiety, and isolation. With Seniors in nursing homes and assisted living centers being among the first Americans to be vaccinated, hope is on the way. But it’s not enough with the number of Seniors living in Broward County, more sites must be opened to insure all our Seniors 65 and older are vaccinated immediately so our most vulnerable are safe, healthy, and thriving once again.
