On March 27, 2020, Congress passed the CARES Act due to the impact of COVID-19, but is it enough with the continuing economic downfall we’re still enduring? Millions of Americans are jobless, kid’s daycares and schools are closed, making it difficult to work and impossible to provide for their families. In Broward, the Median Household Income is $57,278 which equals $2,203.00 bi-weekly. Even with the Cares stimulus of $2,000.00 every 6 months, without getting unemployment, what’s happening to the residents who don’t qualify? The government must stop this economic suffering and help the American people get back on their feet!
